Career Highlights: Earned Second-Team All-ACC Tournament honors his sophomore season. Averaged 16.0 points and 11.0 rebounds during the team’s Italian Tour in the summer of 2004 and was named the Terrapins MVP of the tour.
Senior (2005-06): Averaged 8.0 and 5.3 rebounds. Scored in double figures eight times and had three double-doubles. Had a career-high 23 points and 14 rebounds in win against Western Carolina. Scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds against Manhattan in the NIT. Had a season-high four blocks twice, in games against Duke and Virginia. Totaled eight points, six rebounds and two blocks in two ACC Tournament games.
Junior (2004-05): Averaged a career-high 10.1 point and led the team in rebounding (6.5 rpg). Scored in double figures 16 times. Had a season-high 20 points and eight rebounds against Virginia. Had four double-doubles and a career-high 15 rebounds against Georgia Tech. Totaled 60 points, 37 rebounds and nine blocks in four NIT games. Finished second on the team and sixth in the ACC in free throw percentage (.819). Shot 37 percent from three-point range.
Sophomore (2003-04): Averaged 7.8 points and 5.2 rebounds. Scored a team-high 16 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds in a second-round NCAA Tournament game against Syracuse. Totaled 23 points and 14 rebounds in two NCAA Tournament games. Averaged 13.0 points and 6.3 rebounds in three ACC Tournament games. Shot 50 percent from the field during that stretch.
Freshman (2002-03): Averaged 4.0 points and 3.1 rebounds in 30 games. Had two double-digit scoring games. Had a season-high 11 points and seven rebounds in win against Duquesne. Had five points and five rebounds against Xavier in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Strengths: Good face-up shooter. Good size for the small forward position. Not afraid to mix it up.
Personal: Son of Shelia and Lawrence Garrison. Has two older brothers. Majoring in criminology and criminal justice. Enjoys visiting museums and touring new cities.
