Originally an early entry candidate for the 2005 NBA Draft before withdrawing his name from consideration. Participated in the 2005 NBA Pre-Draft Camp in Chicago. Sat out the 2001-02 season under NCAA Proposition 48 restrictions.
Career Highlights: Became just the fifth player in Atlantic 10 Conference history to earn Player of the Year honors twice (2004-05, 2005-06). Earned Honorable Mention All-America honors from The Associated Press as a junior and senior. Ended his career with 1,931 points, good for seventh all-time at La Salle. His 861 career rebounds are the fifth-highest total in school history.
Senior (2005-06): Named to A-10 First Team for the second straight season. Averaged 19.7 points and 7.9 rebounds. Named to NABC All-District 3 First Team. Scored 20 or more points 14 times. Hit for a career-high 41 points against Central Connecticut State. Posted seven double-doubles. Tallied 26 points and 15 rebounds against Drexel. Had 26 points and 16 rebounds against St. Louis.
Junior (2004-05): Named to A-10 First Team. Led the conference in scoring (20.3 ppg). Finished third in the A-10 in rebounding (8.5 rpg), fifth in field goal percentage (.428) and third in free throw percentage (.807). Recorded a team-high 11 double-doubles. Scored at least 20 points 16 times. Scored a career-high 35 points against Cincinnati. Tallied 27 points and 11 rebounds against USC.
Sophomore (2003-04): An Atlantic 10 All-Conference Third Team selection. Averaged 17.3 points and 8.0 rebounds. Notched eight double-doubles, including a 20-point, 15-rebound performance against Penn. Ranked in the Top 15 in the conference in six categories.
Freshman (2002-03): Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week three times before injuring his foot and missing the rest of the season. Selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team. Averaged 14.5 points and 8.1 rebounds in 31.1 minutes. Scored in double figures in 17 of 20 games he played in.
Strengths: Proficient scorer near the basket who uses his quickness and leaping ability to generate scoring opportunities. Can also step outside and make the mid-range shot.
Personal: On track to graduate with a degree in business management. Worked in the Athletic Communications office at La Salle, assisting with research, publications and press releases.
