An early entry candidate for the 2006 NBA Draft.
Career Highlights: Transferred to Verviers-Pepinster of the Belgium Division 1 League. Participated in the 2006 Nike Hoop Summit. Tallied 15 points, six rebounds and nine blocks in 27 minutes. Took part in Reebok Eurocamp in Treviso, Italy in 2004 and 2005. Participated in the Berlin Adidas Camp in 2004. Member of the Interhoop African All-Stars touring team, which played exhibition games against NCAA teams in November of 2004.
2005-06: Averaged 3.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per game for Vervier-Pepinster of the Belgium First Division. Recorded 18 blocks.
2004-05: Played in Belgium for Spirou Basket’s junior squad.
Strengths: Long, athletic and can jump. Has good timing for one-on-one shot blocking from the weak side. Has limited offensive skills, but shows potential in this area.
Personal: Began playing at a playground near his house in Senegal. Originally went to a private school to become a mechanic, but his father pushed him toward basketball.
