An early entry candidate for the 2006 NBA Draft. Was originally an early entry candidate for the 2005 NBA Draft before withdrawing his name from consideration.

Career Highlights: Made his debut with Joventut Badalona during the 2001-02 season. Named the 2002-03 Spanish Junior league MVP and the 2004 Spanish Cup Finals MVP. Has been a member of the Spanish Cadets National Team and won the bronze medal at the 2001 European Cadets Championship. Has been a member of the Spanish Junior National Team and competed at the 2002 European Junior Championship. Currently a member of the Spanish National Team. Played at the 2004 Olympic Games, averaging 5.1 points in 10.6 minutes a contest, shooting 46.2 percent from the field. Posted 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting vs. New Zealand and six points in nine minutes vs. the United States.

2005-06: Averaged a team-high 14.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists with Badalona in the ACB. Recorded a career-high 32 points vs. Fuenlabrada. Also contributed 13.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 16 total games in the FIBA EuroCup. Earned a selection to the FIBA EuroCup All-Star game, but was unable to play due to injury.

2004-05: Averaged 10.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists with Badalona in the ACB. Notched a season-high 24 points vs. Etosa Alicante. Averaged 7.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in four playoff games. Also contributed 11.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.3 steals in the ULEB Cup.

2003-04: Averaged 11.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists in his first full campaign in the ACB with Badalona. Contributed 13.0 points and 4.3 rebounds in three playoff games. Gained notoriety by earning the 2004 Spanish Cup Finals MVP honor. Contributed 9.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 14 ULEB Cup games. Played in three Qualifying Round games at the 2004 European Championship for Men (U-20), posting 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 22.3 minutes.

2002-03: Appeared in one ACB contest and one ULEB Cup game for Badalona, but spent most of the season with the Badalona B squad. Named the 2002-03 Spanish Junior league MVP after averaging 15.7 points 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 steals in 27 contests. At the 2002 European Championship for Junior Men (U-18), posted 8.6 points and 2.0 steals in 17.6 minutes over five Challenge Round contests. Averaged 14.0 points in 24.7 minutes in seven Final Round games. Erupted for 35 points in the final game vs. Russia.

2001-02: Saw action in one ACB contest with the Badalona senior team. At the 2001 European Championship for Cadets (U-16), averaged 13.6 points in the Challenge Round, 6.0 points in the Qualifying Round and 16.0 points in the Final Round over a total of 15 cocntests.
