Career Highlights: Named to The Associated Press All-America First Team and to the Big East First Team as a senior. Averaged 13.5 points per game during the World University games and helped team to a gold medal. Third-team All-Big East as a junior.
Senior (2005-06): Led the team in scoring (20.5 ppg), finished second in rebounds (190), assists (100) and steals (46). Scored a career-high 32 points in a win over Oklahoma. Averaged 23.7 points in four NCAA Tournament games, including 29 points in team’s win over Boston College in the Sweet 16. Scored 26 points against Pittsburgh in the Big East Tournament. Scored 20 or more points 21 times.
Junior (2004-05): Named Third-Team All-Big East. Selected to the NCAA Syracuse Region and Big East All-Tournament teams. Averaged 20.0 points in three NCAA Tournament games, including 28 points in Villanova’s loss to North Carolina in the Elite Eight. Finished second on the team in scoring and first in minutes played. Scored 27 points in regular-season win over Seton Hall. Scored 20 or more points nine times. Surpassed the 1,000-point mark.
Sophomore (2003-04): Finished third on team in scoring (13.5) and second in assists (127). Hit the game-winning jumper in Villanova’s opening-round win over Seton Hall in the Big East Tournament. Scored 48 points in three Big East Tournament games. Scored 20 or more points eight times and posted three double doubles. Posted a career-high five steals in loss to West Virginia.
Freshman (2002-03): Averaged 10.3 points, good for fourth on the team. Scored 20 or more points three times and scored in double figures 19 times. Scored a season-high 21 points in win over Virginia Tech.
Strengths: Strong and polished guard with a wide-array of skills. Tremendous first step, which enables him to get into the lane, where’s he’s able to absorb contact and finish. Uses change of direction to keep defenders off balance. Tough defender, who’s able to guard bigger players.
Personal: Son of Regina Foye. Has a younger brother. Listens to music in his spare time.
