Career Highlights: Named Third-Team All-ACC as a senior. Named All-District 3 by the USBWA and Second-Team All-District 5 by the NABC.
Senior (2005-06): Led the team in scoring (15.3 ppg), finished second in rebounding (6.3 rpg) and third in steals (1.1 spg). Scored in double figures 26 times. Had a season-high 33 points in win over Georgia Tech and followed that up with a 30-point, 10-rebound effort against Temple. Connected on a season-high four three-pointers in that win. Scored 20 or more points seven times. Had three double-doubles. Totaled 26 points and 14 rebounds in two ACC Tournament games.
Junior (2004-05): Led the Terrapins in scoring (16.0 ppg) and three-point field goals made (43). Scored in double figures 27 times. Posted a career-high 35 points against Temple. Finished third in rebounding (6.2 rpg) and second in steals (43). Had four double-doubles. Totaled 45 points, 28 rebounds and 11 assists in four NIT games. Finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds against Clemson in the ACC Tournament.
Sophomore (2003-04): Finished third on team in scoring (12.2 ppg) and led the team in scoring eight times. Finished third in rebounding (4.7 rpg), assists (55) and blocked shots (34). Had 22 points and a career-high 13 rebounds for his first career double-double against Florida. Had 12 points in the Terrapins NCAA Tournament win over UTEP. Had two double-doubles.
Freshman (2002-03): Started 18 games. Scored in double figures four times. Had a season-high eight rebounds against Duquesne. Had a season-high 14 points in win over Georgia Tech. Scored 12 points in win over UNC Wilmington in the NCAA Tournament.
Strengths: Left-hander with good ball-handling skills for his size. Range has improved every season. Project as a small forward in the NBA.
Personal: Son of Joe Medley and Janet Caner. Has a younger brother. Featured in Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd his senior year in high school. Majoring in American Studies.
