Originally an early entry candidate for the 2004 and 2005 NBA Drafts before withdrawing his name from consideration each time.

Career Highlights: Played in the 2003 edition of Liga Nacional de Baloncesto (LNB), a winter basketball league in Venezuela. Joined Gaiteros del Zulia of the LPB (Liga Profesional de Baloncesto de Venezuela), the nationís top pro league, later in the season but did not dress with the squad. Current member of the Venezuelan National Team and former member of the Venezuelan Junior National Team.

2005-06: Averaged 11.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 26.8 minutes per game for Gaiteros del Zulia in the LNB.

2004-05: In his first season in the LPB, with Gaiteros del Zulia, averaged 8.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 24.6 minutes per game.

2003-04: In his first season in the LNB, with Duros de Lara, averaged 14.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, good for fourth in the league, and 2.1 blocks, which ranked first. In four games at the Tournament of Americas with the Venezuelan National Team, averaged 10.3 points and 5.0 rebounds in 27.5 minutes.

2002-03: Participated in the 2003 Tournament of Americas Olympic Qualifying Tournament with the Venezuelan National Team. In seven games, played 60 minutes, averaging 3.1 points and 2.7 rebounds. Recorded 14 points and seven rebounds in 22 minutes vs. Argentina. Grabbed two rebounds in nine minutes vs. the United States. Also participated in the World Championships for Juniors in Greece with the Venezuelan Junior National Team. Averaged 16.5 points, 10.9 rebounds and 3.4 blocks. Competed in the prestigious Douai International Tournament for Juniors in France.

2001-02: Named MVP of the 2002 Junior Pan American Championship with the Venezuelan Junior National Team.

Strengths: Has excellent quickness. Solid shot-blocker for his size. Possesses a good mid-range game for a power forward. Has the potential to become a quality player if he continues his skill and physical development.
