Senior (2005-06): Finished second on team in scoring (16.1 ppg), first in rebounding (11.3 rpg) and first in blocked shots (28). Had 18 double-doubles. Had a career-high 21 rebounds in win over Dayton. Had 15 or more rebounds in a game eight times. Scored 20 or more points 11 times. Totaled 40 points, 31 rebounds, 10 assists and four blocks in two NIT games. Had a season-high 27 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in win over Duquesne.
Junior (2004-05): Led the 49ers in scoring (18.0 ppg) and averaged 8.1 rebounds. Scored 20 or more points 10 times. Scored a career-high 39 points against Saint Louis. The 39 points was the fifth-highest total in 49er history. Scored in double figures 26 times and had nine double-doubles. Scored 32 points against Memphis in the C-USA Tournament. Had 15 points and five rebounds in first-round loss to N.C. State in the NCAA Tournament.
Sophomore (2003-04): Averaged 16.3 points and 9.5 rebounds. Shot 48 percent from the field. Finished fourth in the NCAA with 16 double-doubles. Had a season-high 14 rebounds in win against Saint Louis. Scored 20 or more points nine times, including a season-high 26 points in a loss to UAB. Had 17 points and nine rebounds in NCAA Tournament first-round loss to Texas Tech. Blocked a season-high four shots in a C-USA Tournament game against UAB.
Freshman (2002-03): Second leading scorer (9.4 ppg) and rebounder (6.4 rpg) for the 49ers. Shot 34 percent from three-point range. Scored in double figures, including a season-high 18 points against DePaul. Posted three double-doubles. Scored 14 points in his first college game.
Strengths: A bruiser who loves to mix it up down low. Can score in the post or face the basket and knock down shots. Prolific rebounder at the college level.
Personal: Son of Elizabeth Withers. Has a five-year-old son, Jae’lyn. Criminal justice major with a double minor in sociology and American studies.
