Career Highlights: Named Third team All-Big East as a junior. Member of the 2002 USA Team at the International Albert Schweitzer Youth Basketball Tournament in Mannheim, Germany.
Senior (2005-06): Hoyas’ third leading scorer (11.0 ppg), third in rebounds (5.0 rpg) and first in steals (1.1 spg). Had two double-doubles. Scored 20 or more points three times and scored in double figures 20 times. Had a season-high 25 points in Big East Tournament win over Notre Dame. Posted a season-high 12 rebounds in win against Providence. Hit four three-pointers in a game twice against Fairfield and St. John’s.
Junior (2004-05): Led the team in scoring (15.1 ppg), steals (42), and was second in rebounding (6.1 rpg). Posted four double-doubles. Shot 50 percent from the field. Finished third in blocked shots (29). Hit 14 of 15 free throws in a 25-point game against Seton Hall. Scored a season-high 28 points in win against Penn State. Scored 20 or more points six times.
Sophomore (2003-04): Led the team in rebounding (8.1 rpg) and blocked shots (37). Finished second in scoring (15.9 ppg) and posted four double doubles. Scored a career-high 30 points against Delaware State. Scored 20 or more points five times. Set a career-high in rebounds with 15 in a loss to Notre Dame and had 10 or more rebounds six other times.
Freshman (2002-03): Started every game. Had a season-high 18 points against Norfolk State and against Syracuse in the Big East Tournament. Scored in double figures 11 times. Scored 51 points in five NIT Tournament games.
Strengths: Very good rebounder and shotblocker from the wing position. Can put the ball on the floor and isn’t afraid to mix it up in the paint.
Personal: Son of Tom and Sharon Bowman. Has three brothers and a sister (Tom, Stephan, Zach, Nicole). Cousin of NBA players Antoine Walker and Samaki Walker. Majoring in sociology with a minor in English.
