"They have two first-round draft picks this year and two next year to address some needs. Kurt Thomas and James Jones could be trade bait to help the Suns move up in the draft. Thomas is due $15.8 million over the next two years, and there is no reason to pay him that kind of money when the coach doesn't believe he fits their style of play. Jones is due $2.6 million next season and, at that price, could be very attractive to another team the Suns could be looking to swap draft picks with."
