Career Highlights: Started playing basketball for Split in 1992. Competed on cadet and junior teams for the club, winning the national championship twice with the cadet team and earning MVP of the Croat cadet championship in 2000. Made his debut with KK Splitís senior team during the 2000-01 season, and has been playing on that squad ever since. Former member of the Croatian Junior National Team, earning a gold medal at the 2002 European Junior Championship and played in the 2003 World Junior Championship in Greece, averaging 19.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.6 steals per game as his team reached the semifinals. Went on to become a member of the Croatian Under-20 National Team and is now with the Croatian Senior National Team. In March 2004, participated in the Nike Hoop Summit, scoring nine points and grabbing five rebounds for the International Select squad.
2004-05: Averaged 18.5 points and 4.3 assists in 35.2 minutes for Split in the Adriatic League, ranking third, third and second, respectively, in those categories.
2003-04: In his fourth season with KK Split, posted a career-high 15.4 points, 2.8 assists and 2.0 steals per game in the Adriatic League. In ULEB Cup action, averaged 13.3 points, 4.9 assists and 2.0 steals in seven games. Added 11.1 points, 4.0 assists and 2.1 steals in Croatian A-1.
2002-03: Averaged 13.0 points, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals in Adriatic League play. Registered 8.7 points, 1.4 assists and 1.6 steals in Croatian A-1. Also made seven appearances in the FIBA Champions Cup, averaging 13.1 points, 3.9 assists and 1.6 steals.
2001-02: Started 10 of 22 contests as a 17-year-old in the Adriatic League, averaging 5.9 points, 0.9 assists and 1.2 steals. Tallied 6.7 points, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 11 FIBA Saporta Cup appearances.
Strengths: Creative scorer. Aggressive off the dribble. Has good quickness and ballhandling skills.
