Originally an early entry candidate for the 2003 NBA Draft before withdrawing his name from consideration.

Career Notes: Began his professional career playing for Split in his native Croatia before moving to Oliver Wurzburg in the top German league (Bundesliga I) for two seasons from 2000 to 2002. Signed to play for Benetton Treviso of Italy for the 2002-03 season. Missed the majority of the 2003-04 season with a knee injury. Signed with BC Kiev in the FIBA Europe League for the 2004-05 season. Has been a member of the Croatian Junior National Team and the Under-20 National team. Played at the European Under-20 Championships in Lithuania in 2002.

(2004-05): Rebounded from an injury plagued 2003-04 campaign to average 12.5 points and 4.6 rebounds for BC Kiev in the FIBA Europe League. In Superleague competition, averaged 11.0 points and 5.1 rebounds.

(2002-03): Saw very little playing time for Benetton Treviso in his first season in Italy. Also saw very little playing time in Euroleague competition, playing more than 14 minutes only once during the Euroleague season. However, in the one game where he received big minutes, playing 31 minutes against Virtus Bologna, delivered 21 points (on 10-for-14 shooting) and 10 rebounds.

(2001-02): In second season in Germany, his minutes and contributions rose dramatically. In about 24 minutes per game, averaged 10.8 points and 5.9 rebounds.

Strengths: A very physical, tough defender close to the basket who enjoys the challenge of stopping his man. He is able to use his size and athletic ability to shoot over most defenders.
