Named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 30 list and was a Wooden Preseason All-America selection. Named to NABC All-District 6 First Team. Freshman (2002-03): Cleared to play on Jan. 7 after sitting out the first 11 games of the season as the NCAA investigated funds allegedly funneled to him prior to enrolling at Alabama.
