Career Highlights: Competed mostly for Unicaja Malagaís youth team in 2001-02 in the EBA, Spainís second division. Spent the full 2002-03 season on the senior team. Signed with Granada Canaria in 2003-04. Returned to Unicaja in 2004-05. Has been member of the Spanish National Team at the Cadet, Junior and Senior levels. Won the silver medal at the 2002 European Under-20 Championship, posting 8.8 points (78.3% FGs), 6.6 rebounds and 3.4 blocks in 19.8 minutes in the Challenge Round and 10.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 20.6 minutes in the Finals Round. Averaged 2.3 points and 1.3 rebounds at the 1999 Under-16 Championship.

(2004-05): Posted 11.1 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 24.2 minutes per game in the ACB with Unicaja, one of the most talented teams in Europe. Notched 26 points on 11-of-12 field goals and 11 rebounds vs. Joventud Badalona. Recorded 20 points vs. FC Barcelona and 21 points on 10-of-10 shooting against his former team Granada. Had four double-doubles. Averaged 8.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 19.2 minutes per game in Euroleague competition, shooting 69.1 percent, second in the league. Totaled a season-high 19 points, seven rebounds and three blocks vs. Opel and 17 points, a season-high 11 rebounds and three blocks vs. CSKA Moscow. Ranked third and sixth in blocks in the Euroleague and ACB, respectively.

(2003-04): In his first and only season with Granada Canaria, a small ACB club, posted 8.4 points, 4.3 and 1.2 blocks per outing domestically. In ULEB Cup action, added 9.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game.

(2002-03): Played sparingly In his first full season with the Unicaja senior team averaging 1.3 points in the ACB and 2.4 points in the Euroleague.

(2001-02): Averaged 1.6 points in nine games with the Unicaja senior team in the ACB. Appeared in one Euroleague contest, recording two points and two rebounds. Posted 10.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3.3 blocks in the Spanish EBA with the Unicaja second team.

Strengths: Uses long arms for shotblocking and rebounding. Hits the offensive glass hard. Willing to get physical. Decent touch on mid-range jumpshot.
