An early entry candidate for the 2005 NBA Draft. Redshirted during the 2001-02 season.

Career Highlights: Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year and Second Team All Conference selection in 2004-05. Two-time A-10 All-Defensive Team pick. Led the A-10 in blocks all three seasons at St. Joe’s. Co-recipient of SJU's John P. Hilferty Award, signifying the team's Most Valuable Player. His 418 rebounds in 2004-05 was the second-highest total in school history, while his 109 blocks was the third-highest single-season mark.

Junior (2004-05): Ranked fifth in the nation in rebounds (11.6 rpg) and blocks (3.0 bpg). Averaged 10.1 points. Became first SJU player since 1995-96 to average a double-double. Had 19 double-doubles on the year. Set new career-high with 16 rebounds at Old Dominion and tied it with 16 against Hofstra. Tied career-high with six blocks on three occasions. Became first Hawk to notch a triple-double since 1986 with 11 points, 11 rebounds and career-high 10 blocks vs. St. Bonaventure on Feb. 19. Had 20 points and 13 rebounds against Drexel. Tallied 18 points and 12 rebounds against UMass. Named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week twice.

Sophomore (2003-04): Started all 32 games and led the A-10 in blocks (2.0 bpg). Ranked 10th in the conference in rebounding (7.0 rpg). Averaged 6.5 points on .545 shooting. Posted five blocks at Xavier. Ended string of three straight double-doubles at Richmond with 10 points and career-high 15 rebounds. Had career-high 23 points and 10 rebounds against George Washington. Posted first career double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds at Delaware. Opened the season with a career-high six blocks in the nationally-televised win over Gonzaga.

Freshman (2002-03): Led the A-10 in blocks (2.0 bpg). His total of 60 blocks was the second most by a freshman in SJU history (95 by Rodney Blake, 1984-85) and is tied for seventh on the school's all-time single-season list. Just the third freshman in SJU history to lead team in rebounding average (6.3 rpg), joining Carlin Warley (9.0 rpg, 1991-92) and Norman Black (9.5 rpg, 1975-76). Had six double-figure rebound games on the season to lead team, including a season-high 14 rebounds in a win over La Salle.

Strengths: Combination of size, strength and quickness make him an excellent rebounder and shotblocker. Runs the floor extremely well for a big man.

Personal: Father, Dwayne, played football for West Virginia in the 1980's. Graduated in May with degree in sociology.
