Career Highlights: Named First Team All-ACC as a senior, joining Bob Sura as the only Florida State players to earn that honor. Finished career as the school’s all-time leader in three-point field goals made per game average (3.1) and ranks 33rd on the all-time scoring list with 1,038 points. Played final two years of career at Florida State after starting at Daytona Beach Community College in 1999-2000 and routing through Indian River Community College in Fort Pierce, Fla. Spent the 2000-01 season at Daytona Beach CC working on academics and did not play basketball.
Senior (2003-04): Averaged a team-leading 16.5 points (ranking fourth in the ACC) and pulled down 4.5 rebounds per contest. Ranked third in the nation in three-point field goals made (110) and tied for 10th in total steals (82). Led team in scoring 18 times. Led team with 30 points and nine rebounds in an overtime win over North Carolina. Posted 16 points and 10 rebounds at Duke and tallied 24 points in the rematch. Earned ACC All-Defensive Team honors.
Junior (2002-03): Led team in scoring (17.1 ppg) and rebounding (5.7 rpg) and tied for fifth in the nation in steals per game (2.8). Scored season-high 32 points twice, against Davidson and Virginia. Registered 21 points against Clemson. Tallied 15 points and nine rebounds in an upset win over Duke. Named to the All-ACC Second Team and the All-Defensive Team.
Sophomore (2001-02): At Indian River CC, led team in scoring (20.6 ppg) and ranked second in rebounding (4.9 rpg). Also led team in three-point field goals made with 121, a school single-season record. Earned All-State and All-Region honors.
Freshman (1999-00): At Daytona Beach CC, averaged a team-leading 16.7 points while also leading the team in field goal shooting, three-point field goal shooting and free throw shooting.
Strengths: An extremely competitive and confident player who can hit three-point field goals in bunches.
Personal: Received his bachelor’s degree in social science in April. A high school teammate of fellow NBA draft prospect, Tony Bobbitt of Cincinnati.
