Career Highlights: Finished his career at Western Kentucky after playing his first three seasons at Florida State. Named First Team All-Sun Belt Conference as a senior and was selected as the league’s Newcomer of the Year. Led the nation and broke the school record for field goal percentage, shooting 67.8 percent from the field. Named Honorable Mention All-America by Sports Illustrated.
Senior (2003-04): Only player in the Sun Belt Conference to average a double-double with 15.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per contest. Posted a league-high 15 double-doubles, including five games with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds. Averaged career highs in steals, assists and blocks. Had career highs of 29 points and 16 rebounds against Marshall. Tallied 23 points and 16 rebounds against Ball State. Had 23 points and eight rebounds against New Mexico State.
Junior (2001-02): Led the Seminoles in rebounding (6.4 rpg), while averaging 8.1 points and shooting 49 percent from the field. Scored in double figures 10 times. Had 15 points and 10 rebounds against eventual National Champion Maryland and Virginia. Grabbed 12 rebounds in a victory over Duke.
Sophomore (2000-01): Averaged 6.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per contest. Had 23 points and 10 rebounds against Rhode Island. Tallied 11 points and 10 rebounds against Morgan State.
Freshman (1999-00): Appeared in 28 games, averaging 1.8 points and 2.1 rebounds.
Strengths: Uses extremely wide and powerful body to clear space around the basket for easy baskets and rebounds.
Personal: Shed over 100 pounds from the time he enrolled in college to now. Is the son of Brenda Bell, a registered nurse, and Cornbelin Dixon. Majoring in general studies with an emphasis on behavioral sciences.
