Career Highlights: Played his final three seasons at Georgia State after spending his freshman campaign at Highland Community College in Illinois. A two-time All-Atlantic Sun First Team Selection, joining Shernard Long (1999-2000, 2000-01) as the only players in school history to earn double the honor. Scored in double figures in 62 games, with 14 career double-doubles. Ranks sixth on Georgia State’s career scoring chart (1,222), fifth in rebounds (293), seventh in field goal percentage (.530) and ninth in free throw percentage (.771). Averaged 19.0 points and 6.5 rebounds at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and was named to the PIT All-Consolation team.
Senior (2003-04): Suspended until Dec. 20 for violating team rules. Ranked second in the Atlantic Sun Conference in free throw percentage (.863), fifth in blocks (1.6), sixth in field goal percentage (.553), seventh in scoring (14.7) and seventh in rebounding (6.9). Posted five 20-point performances. Scored a season-high 28 points and grabbed 12 rebounds against Auburn
Junior (2002-03): Led the Atlantic Sun in scoring (18.0 ppg). His 521 points were the ninth-best single-season total in school history. Scored in double figures in the final 21 games of the season. Ranked in the top 10 in the conference in rebounding, blocks, field goal percentage, defensive rebounds and free throws made. Scored a season-high 25 points against Alabama State.
Sophomore (2001-02): Averaged 12.2 points and 6.4 rebounds. Ranked sixth in the conference in blocked shots. Posted season-highs of 27 points and 13 rebounds against St. Joseph’s. Scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds against Georgia.
Freshman (2000-01): At Highland CC, averaged 16.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.9 blocked shots, helping his team to a 29-5 mark. Had season highs of 35 points and 21 rebounds. Earned First Team All-Conference.
Strengths: Very agile for his size, he can score facing the basket or with a variety of shots down low.
