Career Highlights: Named Honorable Mention All-Big 12 by the league coaches as a sophomore. Earned All-Tournament honors at the 2005 Big 12 Tournament after averaging 29.5 points, 9.0 rebounds in two games. Posted 13 career double-doubles. Prior to attending Missouri, played on the Lithuanian Junior National Team which took second place at the 2003 World Junior Championships. Led the tournament in scoring, averaging 29.1 points on 58.4 percent shooting in eight games.
Sophomore (2004-05): Led team in scoring (16.1 ppg), rebounding (7.6 rpg) and minutes played (31.5 mpg), becoming the first player to lead the squad in those three categories since the 1998-99 season. Ranked ninth in the Big 12 in scoring and fifth in rebounding. Season total of 169 free throws made ranks eighth on the school’s single-season record list. Registered 20 or more points nine times and reached the 30-point mark twice. Scored career-high 33 points, shooting 17-for-19 from the free throw line, vs. Oklahoma in the second round of the Big 12 Tournament. Posted 26 points and 11 rebounds vs. Nebraska in the first round. Tallied 15 points and a career-high 14 rebounds in the regular season finale vs. Kansas. Posted 18 points and 13 rebounds vs. Oklahoma. Made all 13 free throw attempts on his way to scoring 24 points at Oklahoma State. Notched 31 points vs. Nebraska. Scored 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds vs. Illinois. Led team with 23 points vs. DePaul in the first round of the postseason NIT.
Freshman (2003-04): Averaged 11.1 points and 8.4 rebounds in 23.1 minutes. Was the team’s third-leading scorer and top rebounder before missing the last 14 games of the season due to a dislocated right shoulder. Recorded season-high 18 points twice, in consecutive games vs. Belmont and Iowa. Scored 15 points and grabbed season-high 13 rebounds at Indiana. Followed up that performance with 16 points and 13 rebounds vs. Gonzaga. Pulled down 12 boards vs. Syracuse. Posted a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double in his collegiate debut at Oakland (Mich.).
