Career Highlights: Competed with INSEP (French National Institute of Sport and Physical Education) in the French Nationale 1, a developmental league in France. Played three seasons before signing with Pau Orthez, the defending champions in France Pro A, the country’s top professional league. Made his debut with the club in 2003-04. Has been member of the French Cadets National Team and played at the 2001 European Cadets Championship. Has been member of the French Junior National Team and played at the 2002 European Junior Championship and in the same event in 2004.
2004-05: Averaged 6.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game in 13.0 minutes in French Pro A for Pau Orthez. Averaged 5.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game in 13.5 minutes in Euroleague action.
2003-04: Averaged 2.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in 7.9 minutes per game as a rookie with Pau Orthez in France Pro A. Contributed 2.6 points and 1.3 rebounds in 6.4 minutes in Euroleague play.
2004 European Championship for Juniors: Averaged 17.8 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 2.2 steals in 26.8 minutes per game over five appearances in the Qualifying Round for the French Junior National Team. Converted 64.5 percent of his shots. Averaged 9.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 1.2 blocks in 23.4 minutes per game over four Challenge Round contests.
2002-03: Averaged 10.5 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.2 blocks in 25.5 minutes per game in his second season with INSEP in French Nationale 1. Posted 24 points, 11 rebounds, four blocks and two steals vs. Bondy. At the 2002 European Championship for Juniors with the French Junior National Team, averaged 8.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks over eight games, on a squad that featured Tony Parker.
2001-02: Tallied 8.3 point, 6.7 rebound and 2.2 blocks in 23.2 minutes per game in his debut campaign with INSEP. On the French Cadet team, averaged 4.1 points and 5.3 rebounds in 13.7 minutes per game in 13 appearances in the 2001 European Championship for Cadets.
