Career Highlights: Finished career as the all-time leading rebounder in UT history (1,077 rebounds). Ranks 18th on the school’s all-time scoring chart (1,149 points). Became second player in UT history to record 1,000 career points and rebounds. Ranks fifth in school history in career double-doubles (28) and recorded 41 career double-figure rebounding efforts. Shares school records for career games played and consecutive games played (134) with teammate Brian Boddicker. Averaged 14.5 points and 11.5 rebounds at the 2004 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament.

Senior (2003-04): Honorable mention All-Big 12 selection (coaches). Battled injuries to his lower back and lower body throughout the season. Finished second on the squad in rebounding (5.8 rpg) and third in blocks (24).

Junior (2002-03): Named to the All-Big 12 Second Team (coaches and media) and Big 12 All-Defensive Team (media). One of two players in the Big 12 (Lawrence Roberts, Baylor) to average a double-double (11.1 ppg, 11.0 rpg) for the season. Led the conference and ranked 10th nationally in rebounding. His 363 rebounds ranked third on UT’s single-season list. Reached double figures in rebounding in 19 games and grabbed at least 15 rebounds 10 times. Recorded 20 points and 12 boards at No. 1 Arizona. Recorded 21 points and tied a career-high with 17 rebounds at No. 16 Oklahoma State. Posted 13 points and nine rebounds in 25 minutes during NCAA Semifinal loss to No. 13 Syracuse.

Sophomore (2001-02): Starting center who took his game to another level following the season-ending injury to Chris Owns on Dec. 30, averaging 12.0 points and 10.4 rebounds in final 23 games. An All-Big 12 Third Team (coaches) and Honorable Mention (media) selection. Named to the Big 12 All-Defensive Squad (media). Led the team in rebounding (8.9 rpg) and blocks (25). His 302 rebounds ranked sixth on the UT single-season list. Averaged 10.3 points and 9.3 rebounds during UT’s NCAA Tournament run and was named to the NCAA Midwest Regional All-Tournament Team.

Freshman (2000-01): Named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team. Finished second on the team in blocks (28) and rebounding (6.5 rpg), which ranked fifth on the UT freshman list.

Strengths: Hard-nosed rebounder and decent shotblocker who is very active on both ends of the floor.
