Career Highlights: Grew up playing for Ulker Spor Kulubu Istanbul (Turkey) youth team. Loaned to Yesilyurt Istanbul, in the Turkish second division, for the 2003-04 season. Made his debut with Ulker Istanbul during the 2004-05 season. Has been member of the Turkish Cadets National Team and the Turkish Junior National Team. Won the silver medal at the 2003 European Cadets Championship.
(2004-05): Averaged 4.5 points and 3.2 rebounds in 12.5 minutes for Ulker in the Turkish League and 3.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 12.0 minutes in the Euroleague. Had season highs in points (16) and minutes (27) vs. Raks ITU.
(2003-04): Played for Yesilyurt Istanbul in the Turkish second division.
2004 European Championship for Junior Men (U-18): Averaged 17.4 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 25.8 minutes over five games. Shot 14-of--32 (.438) from three-point range. Posted 27 points and 15 rebounds vs. Slovenia, recording two blocks and two steals. Had 22 points vs. Lithuania and 21 vs. Poland.
2003 European Championship for Cadets (U-16): Averaged 20.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.3 steals in 26.0 minutes over four contests in the Challenge Round. Had 31 points, seven rebounds and five steals vs. Lativia in 23 minutes. Had 26 points, 11 rebounds, four steals and two blocks vs. France. Totaled 13 points and 15 rebounds vs. Israel and 12 points in just 12 minutes vs. Poland.
Strengths: An excellent outside shooter. Runs the floor and rebounds. One of the most talented international players in his age group.
