Originally an early entry candidate for the 2004 NBA Draft before withdrawing his name from consideration.
Career Highlights: Made his debut with BS Energy Braunschweig during the 2001-02 season. Spent the next three seasons splitting time between that club in the German Bundesliga I, the nation’s premier league, and its top farm team, SG FT/MTV Braunschweig, in the German Bundesliga II. Was a member of the German Under-20 National Team, participating in the 2001 Global Games in Dallas, and is currently a member of the German National Team “B” squad.
2004-05: Posted 1.7 points and 1.4 rebounds in 6.1 minutes for BS Energy Braunschweig in Bundesliga I action and 2.8 points and 0.8 rebounds in 6.1 minutes in ULEB Cup action.
2003-04: Averaged 11.3 points and 6.4 rebounds in 26.5 minutes per game in Bundesliga II play with SG FT/MTV Braunschweig. Also competed with BS Energy Braunschweig, posting 3.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 9.4 minutes in five ULEB Cup appearances while receiving limited playing time in Bundesliga I action.
2002-03: Contributed 9.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in 23.1 minutes with SG FT/MTV Braunschweig in Bundesliga II. Averaged 2.2 points and 1.0 rebound with BS Energy Braunschweig in Bundesliga I.
2001-02: Scored five points and grabbed four rebounds in one appearance for BS Energy Braunschweig in the Korac Cup. Recorded three points and two rebounds in four Bundesliga I matches for that club.
Strengths: Good shooter with excellent length. Considered to be one of the best young players in Germany.
