Senior (2003-04): Named to the All-Big 12 First Team (media) and Second Team (coaches), and a Big 12 All-Tournament selection. Averaged a team-high 18.7 points and shot 66.7 percent from three-point range in UT’s three NCAA Tournament contests, including a team-high 21 points and seven boards in Sweet Sixteen contest vs. Xavier. Led the team in scoring (13.9 ppg), minutes (30.0 mpg), double-digit scoring games (22) and 20-point performances (9) on the season.
Junior (2002-03): Third-Team All-Big 12 (coaches) and honorable mention All-Big 12 (media) pick. Led UT to the NCAA Final Four, averaging a team-high 17.8 points in five games and earning a spot on the NCAA South Region Team. Scored a career-high 27 points in Sweet Sixteen victory vs. No. 23 UConn and posted 25 points in National Semifinal loss to No. 13 Syracuse. Ranked second on the team in scoring (14.8 ppg), minutes (30.1 mpg), assists (57), three-point percentage (.413) and steals (33) on the season. His .413 three-point percentage ranked sixth on UT’s single-season list.
Sophomore (2001-02): Honorable mention All-Big 12 selection (coaches) and named to the Big 12 All-Improved squad (media). Started all 34 games and led UT in scoring (13.7 ppg) and three-pointers made (65), and ranked second in three-point percentage (.394), rebounding (4.6 rpg) and minutes (30.2 mpg). His .394 three-point percentage ranked seventh on UT’s single-season chart.
Freshman (2000-01): Played in all 34 games and finished second on team in three-point percentage (.373). Scored a season-high 18 points in the TiVo Preseason NIT semifinal game vs. No. 2 Duke.
Strengths: Very good athlete with decent all-around skills. Tough and aggressive defender who brings maximum effort.
Personal: Started all five games for the 2003 USA Basketball Pan American Games Team, which finished fourth. Son of Joseph Mouton and Gertrude Butler. Majored in youth and community studies.
