Originally an early entry candidate for the 2003 NBA Draft before withdrawing his name. Signed with AEK of the Greek League on Oct. 27, 2003. Brought along slowly by Buducnost of Serbia & Montenegro for four seasons before signing with Partizan prior to the 2002-03 season.
Career Highlights: Was a member of the Yugoslavian Junior National Team that played at the 2000 European Junior Championships in Croatia. Has been a member of the Yugoslavian Under-20 National Team. Played in the 2001-01 YUBA League All-Star Game. Was a reserve as Buducnost won the YUBA League championship in 2001 and again in 2001.
2003-04: In his first season with AEK of the Greek League, averaged 6.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in a reserve role. Scored a season-high 14 points against PAOK. In Euroleague action, averaged 4.6 points, with a season-high eight points against F.C. Barcelona.
2002-03: As a key reserve in his first season for Partizan, played 17 minutes per game. Produced 7.8 ppg and 4.2 rpg in YUBA League games. Contributed 14 points and seven rebounds in win over Spartak. In Euroleague action, tallied 13 points and 13 rebounds vs. CSKA Moscow.
2001-02: In final season for Buducnost, played 13.5 minutes per game. Produced 6.1 ppg and 2.5 rpg.
Strengths: Despite his height, most scouting reports indicate he can play the two, three and four spots.
