Career Highlights: Played in the 2000 European Junior Championships as a member of the Slovenian Junior National Team, the 2001 European Championships as a member of the Slovenian National Team and the 2002 European Under-20 Championships as a member of the Slovenian Under-20 National Team.
2003-04: Began the season with Avtodor Saratov in the Russian Superleague, where he averaged 19.2 points and 4.2 assists over five contests. Also registered two points and three assists in his sole FIBA Europe Cup appearance. Was signed in January by Breil Milano. Contributed 10.8 points and 2.3 assists in 25.8 minutes per game for the club in Italy A-1 and saw action in two ULEB Cup contests, collecting 14 points and four steals.
2002-03: Acquired by Maccabi Tel Aviv. Averaged 5.9 points and 2.6 assists in Israeli Premier League play. Helped his squad to an Israeli National Cup. Also participated in the Euroleague, for the third consecutive campaign, and the Adriatic League, for the second straight season.
2001-02: Guided B.C. Olimpija Ljubljana to an Adriatic Goodyear League title, a Slovenian Kolinska League championship and a Slovenian National Cup. Named MVP of the Slovenian League finals.
2000-01: Signed with Olimpija Ljubljana. Competing with Jiri Welsch and Sani Becirovic, the club captured the Slovenian League championship and won the Slovenian National Cup. Made an appearance in the Slovenian League All-Star game. Averaged 8.7 points and 2.7 assists in 21 Slovenian League matches.
1999-00: A starter for KK Kovinotehna Polzela in his first campaign in Slovenia’s premier division following two seasons in the secondary league with that club. Averaged 10.3 points, earning Rookie of the Year honors.
