Career Highlights: Played for the Hong Kong Flying Dragons for the 2002-03 season. Has recently been elevated to China’s National Team although he has yet to play in competition for the National Team.
(2002-03): Was loaned by the Hongli team of Henan province to the Hong Kong Flying Dragons for the season. Averaged 21.8 points (15th in league), 8.4 rebounds (12th in league), 1.58 steals 1.12 blocks per game (8th in league). He led his team in scoring, rebounds and blocked shots.
(2001-02): Was named Rookie of the Year in the CBA (China Basketball Association) for the 2001-02 season after he averaged 8.1 points and 5.6 rebounds for the Jilin Northeast Tigers. He played for Jilin after being loaned by the Hongli team of Henan province.
Strengths: He has a big build with the capacity to add much more weight as he develops. Scouting reports indicate he is more comfortable shooting facing the basket and has good hands and a good touch. He runs the court very well and has athletic quickness. May be better suited to power forward as he matures.
