An early entry candidate for the 2003 NBA Draft. Played two full seasons for KR Reykjavik (the oldest athletic club in Iceland) in Iceland’s top league before signing with TBB Trier of Germany’s top league (Bundesliga I) for the 2002-03 season. Career Notes: Is a member of Iceland’s National Team and previously played for Iceland’s Junior National Team and Under-20 National Team. Was named the Icelandic League Player of the Year in 2002 and was member of the All-Domestic Team and played in the Icelandic League All-Star Game. (2002-03): In his first season in Europe, averaged 13 points, 2.7 assists and 2.8 rebounds for Trier. He ranked third on the team in scoring and was second in assists, steals (1.32 spg), and three-point field goals. Scored 21 points, including hitting four-of-six three-point attempts, in a victory over Leverkusen. Notched 19 points and four steals vs. Brandt Hagen.
