Named to the ACC All-Rookie Team in 2001-02. Also received the team’s Scholar-Athlete Award and was named to the ACC Honor Roll after posting a 3.45 grade-point average during his freshman year. Sophomore (2002-03): Ranked seventh in the ACC in blocks (1.3 bpg), 20th in scoring (12.4 ppg) and 18th in rebounding (5.3 rpg). First Team All-ACC Tournament selection, averaging 20.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in three games. Scored a career-high 26 points in the ACC Championship game against Duke.
