Although he was with Buducnost since 2000, he saw very little playing time in either the YUBA League or Euroleague until this season. Has been a member of the Serbia & Montenegro Under-20 National Team. Played at the 2002 European Under-20 Championship. (2002-03): Was a major offensive factor for Buducnost in Euroleague play, playing 19.4 minutes per game and averaging 9.6 points while making 54 percent of his two-point field goal attempts. Scored 21 points vs. Tau Ceramica of Spain, hitting six of seven shots from two-point range and three of six from three-point range. Nailed season-high 22 points against Zalgiris Kaunas of Lithuania. Scored in double figures in seven of 13 Euroleague games. In YUBA League, scored season-high 19 points vs. Spartak. Top shooting game came in 16-point effort vs. Beograd where he made seven of eight attempts. Also scored 16 points vs. Vojvodina and vs. Crvena Zvezda (Red Star). Tallied 15 points vs. FMP Zeleznik. (2001-02): Shot the ball well in his three YUBA League appearances, where he got legitimate playing time. In 45 total minutes over three games, averaged 6.7 points, making 4-of-6 from two-point range and 3-of-4 from three-point range.
