Career Highlights: Named Honorable Mention All-America by AP as a junior. Named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year (2002-03). Two-time First Team All-Ohio Valley Conference selection. Ranks seventh on Morehead State’s all-time scoring list with 1,750 points. Named OVC Freshman of the Year (2000-01).

Junior (2002-03): Ranked 12th in the nation in scoring (22.5 ppg). Named to the NABC All-District 7 First Team. Scored 20 or more points on 17 occasions. Scored a career-high 43 points against Eastern Kentucky. Had 42 points against NAIA school Taylor University. Tallied 35 points, eight rebounds and five assists against Marshall. Led the team in steals (63) and ranked second in rebounding (6.2 rpg) and assists (4.0 apg).

Sophomore (2001-02): Finished third in the conference and 10th nationally in scoring (22.3 ppg). Also led the team in rebounding (6.9 rpg) and ranked 16th in nation in steals (2.6 spg). Scored in double figures in every game and had six double-doubles. Led the OVC in steals (73) and ranked seventh in assists (96). Had 23 points and eight rebounds against Kentucky. Tallied 32 points and nine rebounds against Vanderbilt. Scored a season-high 38 points against Tennessee Martin. Had 27 points and 14 rebounds against IUPUI.

Freshman (2000-01): Named Second Team All-OVC. Led the team in scoring (16.7 ppg). Scored in double figures 26 times. Scored a season-high 28 points at Wright State.

Strengths: Has the ability to either catch-and-shoot or create a shot on the move. Uses his quickness to get steals in defense and to get to the basket on offense.

Personal: Son of Rick Minard Sr. and Kimberly Minard. He is a Sports Management major.
