Career Notes: Began his professional career playing for Split in his native Croatia before moving to Oliver Wurzburg in the top German league (Bundesliga I) for two seasons from 2000 to 2002. Signed to play for Benetton Treviso of Italy for the 2002-03 season. Has been a member of the Croatian Junior National Team and the Under-20 National team. Played at the European Under-20 Championships in Lithuania in 2002.

(2002-03): Saw very little playing time for Benetton Treviso in his first season in Italy. Also saw very little playing time in Euroleague competition, playing more than 14 minutes only once during the Euroleague season. However, in the one game where he received big minutes, playing 31 minutes against Virtus Bologna, delivered 21 points (on 10-for-14 shooting) and 10 rebounds.

(2001-02): In second season in Germany, his minutes and contributions rose dramatically. In about 24 minutes per game, averaged 10.8 points and 5.9 rebounds.

(2000-01): In his first season in Germany, played about 15 minutes per game for Oliver Wurzburg. Averaged 4.4 points and 3.8 rebounds as a key reserve.

Strengths: A very physical, tough defender close to the basket who enjoys the challenge of stopping his man. He is able to use his size and athletic ability to shoot over most defenders.
