Played his entire four-year professional career for Darussafaka (Turkey) before being traded to Pinar Karsiyaka (Turkey) in November of 2002.

Career Highlights: A member of Turkey’s National Team, he won a spot on Turkey’s team that played in the World Championship of Basketball in Indianapolis in 2002. The coach stuck to a seven-player rotation of experienced players and he saw little action. Played in seven of the eight games for a total of 57 minutes (8.1 mpg) and totaled eight points, five rebounds and four assists. Turkey finished ninth of 16 teams. He is a past member of Turkey’s Junior National Team and played in the European Under-20 Championships in 2000.

(2002-03): With his new team, Pinar Karsiyaka, quickly became a key offensive player, playing almost 33 minutes per game. Averaged career-high of 15.3 points and added 3.9 assists per game. Helped Karsiyaka to a 15-11 record (its best in three seasons) and a berth in the playoffs after a fifth-place finish.

(2001-02): As a full-time starter playing 29 minutes per game, averaged 13.8 points, 5.1 assists (third in the league) and shot 40 percent from three-point range for the second straight season.

(2000-01): His playing time increased to 24 minutes per game and his production rose to 9.1 ppg and 3.0 apg.

(1999-00): Showed his preference for the assist in his first season for Darussafaka. Averaged 4.8 points and 2.3 assists in only 19 minutes per game.

Strengths: An excellent passer, particularly adept at executing the pick and roll. Has improved the range of his three-point shooting. He prefers to create shots for his teammates but will take and make the shots the defense gives him. Very quick player who rarely gets beaten off the dribble by other point guards.
