Junior (2002-03): Finished 18th nationally and led the Big 12 in scoring (21.8 ppg). His 741 points are the third-highest single-season total in Big 12 history behind Marcus Fizer and Paul Pierce. Finished 14th in the conference in rebounding (6.4 rpg) and tied for third in steals (1.94 spg). Scored 20 or more points 21 times. Had five 30-point games. Scored a career-high 34 points at Missouri. Had 30 points and nine rebounds at Oklahoma State. Tallied 30 points and 11 rebounds against Texas in the Big 12 Tournament. Broke Big 12 Tournament records for field goals made (28) and attempted (56) in three games. Grabbed career-high 15 rebounds against San Diego State in the second round of the NIT. Strengths: Has the ability to take his man off the dribble and get to the basket where he is a creative finisher. Improved his free throw shooting, which is crucial to his future success considering the type of player he is.
