Made his debut with Postojna in the 1998-99 season. After a very successful debut season he was signed by Olimpija Ljubljana but was loaned to Slovan (also of Ljubljana) for the 1999-2000 and 2000-01 seasons. Made his debut for Olimpija Ljubljana in 2001-02 season and helped team capture Slovenian national championship. Also played there this past season when team again won the championship. (2002-03): Made an impact in second season with Olimpija Ljubljana. Averaged 9.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 23 minutes per game. In Euroleague play, posted season-high 18 points twice against Buducnost. Scored 15 points and added five rebounds vs. Barcelona. Notched 12 points and season-high eight rebounds vs. Unicaja. (2001-02): In first season with Olimpija Ljubljana averaged 7.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in league play. In Euroleague play saw very few minutes but did get into eight games. (2000-01): In second season with Slovan, averaged 8.5 points and 3.9 rebounds, playing in only eight games due to injury. (1999-00): In first season with Slovan, averaged 9.3 points and 3.9 rebounds. (1998-99): After two seasons playing professionally in his native Georgia with Azot Rustavi, signed with Postojna in Slovenia. Averaged 11.1 points and 3.6 rebounds as a 17-year-old. Strengths: Very quick and a good runner for his size. Likes to take bigger defenders off the dribble.
