HIGHLIGHTS

Regarded as one of the bright young point guard prospects in Europe.

Originally an early entry candidate for the 2000 and 2001 NBA Drafts but withdrew his name from consideration each time.

Now eligible to be drafted as a player playing outside the United States who is in the year of his 22
nd birthday.

In his first season playing for Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia, where he plays about 19 minutes per game.

Last season, switched from European powerhouse Partizan of Belgrade to Antalya of Turkey in midseason and received substantial playing time.

Did not play much in his two and one half seasons with Partizan, although he played a small role as Partizan won the Yugoslavian National Championship in 1999-00.

He is left-handed and has excellent point guard judgment.

According to European sources, he speaks English fluently.

In Slovenia, averaged 5.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 19 minutes for Olimpija Ljubljana.

In Turkey in 2000-01, averaged 16.4 points, 3.8 assists and two steals in 37.7 minutes for Antalya.

Made a big splash at the Nike Hoop Summit in 1999.

Although the International Select Team dropped a 107-95 to the USA Basketball Select Team, Ilievski scored a team-high 19 points, putting on a sizzling shooting display.

He made all four of his field goal attempts, including a pair of three-pointers, and sank 9-of-12 free throws.

He also contributed a team-leading five assists, four rebounds and two steals.

Impressed European basketball watchers with performance at the 1997 European Cadet Championship in Belgium.

Following that summer performance, he moved to United States and played high school basketball for one season.

Returned to Europe when Partizan recruited him for their team.
