Played his final season at Southern Illinois after three years at Virginia Tech, where he scored 1,169 points.

Named First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference, MVC Newcomer of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year this past year.

Named Third Team All-Atlantic 10 as a junior at Virginia Tech.

Became the first freshman in 20 years to lead the Hokies in scoring during 1997-98 season, and also set a freshman record with 60 blocks.

At Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, named to all-consolation bracket team after dominant performance.

Averaged 19.0 points and 8.3 rebounds in 24 minutes per game while shooting 70.3 percent from the field.
AT SOUTHERN ILLINOIS
