Originally an early entry candidate for the 2001 NBA Draft before withdrawing his name from consideration.
Now draft eligible as a player playing outside the United States in the year of his 22nd birthday.
A native of Argentina who has played the past four seasons in Spain.
After playing in Spain’s second division in the 1998-99 season, was elevated along with Gijon Baloncesto for the 1999-2000 season.
In 2000-01, transferred to Tau Ceramica, where he became a key player.
Helped Tau Ceramica to victory in the 2002 Copa del Rey, the same competition where Pau Gasol of the Memphis Grizzlies impressed NBA scouts in 2001.
Was a member of the Junior National Team in Argentina and is now a Senior National Team member.
Off to a great start in his second season with Tau Ceramica in 2001-02.
