BRAD GREENBERG'S PRE-DRAFT ANALYSIS:

"The Lakers do not have a pick in this year's draft and this is not punishment for what they are doing to playoff opponents. Their dynamic duo of Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant is incomparable. Derek Fisher has been a catalyst for their late season turnaround. Rick Fox is a small forward with a floor game, range and court sense to fit beautifully into the triple post offense. Horace Grant has saved his best play for the playoffs and appears to have a few more valuable years left in his legs. Hey, it's easy playing alongside Shaq if you understand the triangle offense and Grant has a Ph.D. in Phil Jackson's X and O class.

"If there are areas the Lakers might try to improve, they might be finding a young guard good enough to take minutes away from Brian Shaw and/or a forward to train under Grant."
