Chris Dortch feature: Hutchison has package to thrive in NBA
- Listed as 6’7 and 197 pounds as a senior. Has good length for his size and a lean frame to go along with great explosiveness and fluidity. Very good all-around athlete.
- Played a massive role in Boise State’s offense as a senior frequently serving as his team’s primary shot creator out of ball screen actions. Did a little bit of everything offensively, but much of his damage was via pushing the ball himself in transition and attacking closeouts in the half court. Hutchison flashed impressive versatility as a senior leading his team in points, rebounds, and assists.
- Has nice tools for the defensive end with impressive lateral quickness and length. Contributes on the glass. Would benefit from getting stronger. Allowed only 0.783 points per Isolation possession[51st percentile]. Could be more assertive trying to be disruptive and physical on the ball.
