- Pritchard Discusses Hill

- Much-improved jump shooter
- Uses strength to get to the rim

- Tweener size

NBA projection
Hill has been projected as a second-round pick. His versatility will no doubt attract NBA teams, but more impressive is his work ethic. He arrived at Arizona as an overweight freshman (245 pounds, 21 percent body fat), and left four years later at 220 pounds with body five between five and seven percent. He also showed up with no perimeter game and left a 40-percent 3 shooter. Hill isn’t afraid to put in the time shoring up his weaknesses.

2012-13 Season
Hill was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection after finishing second on the team in scoring and rebounding and third in assists, steals and blocked shots.

Key statistics

Cool statistic
Hill is just the eighth player in school history to pile up 1,400 or more points and 750 or more rebounds in his career.

What Insiders Say
Arizona coach Sean Miller
“Solomon has been a great player for us. … He has led our team from start to finish. His intent and his will to win, and how he practices and carries himself … like [Ohio State’s] Aaron Craft, where a lot of his intentions are contagious for Ohio State, Solomon represents a lot of those for us."

What Outsiders Say
Arizona State coach Herb Sendek
“He’s versatile and tough. He’s a really hard matchup. I don't think it is a stretch to say he is undeniably one of the best players in college basketball."
