Most draft projections have placed Leslie in the second round. He’s got NBA athleticism and explosiveness, defends the rim and is a solid rebounder, but he’ll either have to get stronger to play power forward at the next level or continue to improve his perimeter skills to play the three spot.
Leslie finished seventh in the ACC in scoring, eighth in rebounding and seventh in field-goal percentage as he helped lead the Wolfpack to the NCAA tournament. He earned ACC player of the week honors twice.
15.1 ppg | 7.4 rpg | 1.5 apg | 3.0 tpg | 1.1 spg | 1.2 bpg | 32.4 mpg | .519 FG | .323 3PT | .612 FT
Leslie was one of just three ACC players to rank in the top 10 in the league in scoring, rebounding and field-goal percentage.

What Insiders Say
NC State coach Mark Gottfried
“Other players can afford to have some ups and downs, and he really can't. When he has a down, we all notice it, even me, because my expectation for him is really high. … But I think that he's finished the year really well. I think there was a time in the middle of the year when the ball stuck in his hands a lot. He just needed to move it a little bit more and get it back. I think he's moving the ball better now. So I think he's had a pretty good finish to the year.”
What Outsiders Say
Wake Forest coach Jeff Bzdelik
“He is very talented, quick off his feet. He plays very hard, is very skilled and talented.”
