NBA projection
Felix has turned up in mock drafts as a possible second-round pick. Those who know him best, including Arizona State assistant coach Eric Musselman, a two-time NBA head coach, believe he's capable of contributing to an NBA right away because of his ability to defend multiple positions and his competitive drive and athleticism that makes him a killer when it comes to getting to 50-50 balls and saving possessions for his team.

2012-13 Season
Felix's senior season was eventful, even though the Sun Devils didn't end up earning a bid to the NCAA tournament. He was chosen to the All-Pac-12 second team, made the league's All-Defensive team and was the Pac-12's Scholar-Athlete of the year while working on his master's degree. Felix finished among the top 15 in the conference in six statistics, including scoring, steals and rebounding. In postseason activities at the Final Four, he finished second in the Slam Dunk contest and played in the NABC All-Star game.

Key statistics
14.6 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 1.6 apg, 2.0 tpg, 1.4 spg, 1.1 bpg, 31.8 mpg, .500 FG, .374 3PT, .664 FT

Cool statistic
Felix led the Pac-12 with 12 double-doubles in the regular season, including nine in conference play.

What Insiders Say
Arizona State assistant Eric Musselma
"You could say that Carrick could guard [positions] one through three and a half [in the NBA]. He's not going to be able to handle a power forward who likes to pound it in the low post. But he can guard face-up fours."

What Outsiders Say
Cal State Fullerton coach and former Arizona State assistant Dedrique Taylor

"All the NBA scouts I've spoken with are enamored with his energy and effort. They're intrigued with what he brings defensively. And he gives you a character kid that you don't have to worry about what he's doing off the floor. A huge part of the NBA right now is finding guys that are mature off the floor and take care of business. Carrick Felix takes care of business."
