* Great size and length
* Very athletic, runs well, good jumper (known for his dunking prowess)
* Stroke looks right but he gets inconsistent results
* Great ability to finish on the break and dangerous slasher/cutter offensively
* Willing defender, competes
* One-on-one defense vs. smaller/quicker forwards
* Inconsistent shooter beyond the 3-point line
* Needs strength to play the 4 consistently
With the right team he could be a nice addition and a difficult match-up. He can defend 4's and play 3/4 offensively. With his upside and athleticism, ability to play over the rim and his transition game, plus a more than decent outside shot, he should be a lottery pick in the NBA draft.
Expected to declare in last year draft as lock top 10 pick, he decided to stay in Partizan one more year to improve his game and gain experience. Has started showing improvement with his back to the basket and is slowly showing improvement beyond the 3-point line.
2010-11 Partizan – Adriatic League: 23 mpg, 10.4 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.4 apg. FG 71%, 3PT 28%, FT 55%
Partizan – Euroleague: 26 mpg, 10.1ppg, 3.6 rpg, 1.1apg. FG 60%, 3PT 35%, FT 44%
He was a key player in Partizan's successful road to last year's Euroleague Final Four in Paris. He sealed a double-double (13 points and 10 rebounds) in the dramatic-ending semifinal game against Olympiacos.

What the Experts Say:
FIBA Europe Secretary General Nar Zanolin
"I have been following Jan Vesely’s progress in the last few year's and I have the feeling he'll give us all plenty of reasons to keep a close eye on him for many years to come. He is that rare kind of player that can play in any position, a natural basketball talent."
