  • Brian Royce Hamilton was born in Angleton, Texas.
  • His first job and only job besides basketball was cutting grass.

    BH: “Heat, Coming to America, and Action”

    AD: What is your favorite quote?

    BH: “Never give up”

    AD: What do you like to do in your spare time for fun?

    BH: “I like to chill with friends playing ping pong and pool.”

    AD: Not including basketball, what is your favorite sport?

    BH: “Football.”

    AD: What is your favorite football team?

    BH: “The Texans, Colts and Cowboys.”

    AD: Who would you like to meet one day?

    BH: “I want to meet Michael Jordan.”

    AD: What is your favorite food?

    BH: “Soul food and seafood.”

    AD: When is the last time you saw your mom?

    BH: “In Houston right before I came out here.”

    AD: How many people are in your family? Brothers? Sisters?

    BH: “Five, I have 2 older sisters.”

    AD: If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?

    BH: “I would go to Dubai and Hawaii.”

    AD: What is your favorite color?

    BH: “Blue.”

    AD: What is your nickname?

    BH: “I go by B-Ham.”

    AD: Do you prefer the ocean or a pool?

    BH: “Ocean.”

    AD: Who is the funniest person you know?

    BH: “Big Ced & (teammate) James Lang.”

    AD: What kind of cereal do you like?

    BH: “Captain Crunch, but it has to be the kind with the berries, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.”

    AD: Are you allergic to anything?

    BH: “Yeah, bees.”

    AD: What is your dream car?

    BH: “Range Rover 4.6 and a Ferrari.”

    AD: What makes you different?

    BH: “I set and reach my goals; I am a dedicated hard worker and a genuinely good person.”

    AD: What do you think about being here in Utah?

    BH: “It is a good thing, the back road to the NBA.”

    AD: What has been your greatest achievement so far in life?

    BH: “To be playing ball now. I’m not a quitter.”
