LANG RETURNS TO FLASH

Center is Expected to Be in Uniform Tonight



OREM, Utah, Jan. 6, 2009 – The Utah Flash have reacquired center James Lang, who is expected to be in uniform when the Flash plays the Anaheim Arsenal tonight at 7:15 p.m. in the NBA Development

League Showcase at the McKay Events Center on the Utah Valley campus.

Lang, who played in 48 games for the Flash last season, has been playing in China and Israel this season. The 48th overall selection in the 2003 NBA Draft as an early entry by the New Orleans Hornets,

Lang averaged 22.4 minutes, 12.4 points and 7.0 rebounds for the Flash last season. He finished sixth in the league in field goal percentage at .565 (248-439).

He has been on NBA rosters with the Washington Wizards (06-07), the Atlanta Hawks (05-06) and the Toronto Raptors (05-06). A 2003 McDonald’s All-American out of Central Park Christian High School

in Birmingham, Ala., Lang has also played professionally in Spain and was on NBA Summer League rosters with the Utah Jazz and Miami Heat.

Lang will wear number 00 for the Flash.
