A: Absolutely! Going to an D-League game with the family will be no more expensive than going to dinner or a movie. A 66ers game represents a fun and affordable entertainment option for the entire family.

Q: How long is the D-League season?
A: During the 2007-08 season, each team played 24 regular season games at home and 24 regular season road games, plus two pre-season games. Thirteen of the 66ers 24 home games were played on Friday or Saturday. The regular season starts in late November and concludes in early April.

Q: How can I secure my season ticket priority for the 2008-09 season?
A: By placing a 25 percent deposit per seat by calling the Tulsa 66ers offices at (918) 585-8444. Season ticket pricing and seating maps for 2008-09 are ready to be introduced to the public.

Q: Why will NBA D-League minor league basketball work in Tulsa?
A: We are confident basketball fans living in the Tulsa area are excited about very good professional basketball. The NBA product features the best basketball players in the world not already in the NBA.

Q: What about D-League direct ties with NBA teams?
A: Currently, any NBA team can sign any D-League player. This is a formula that has worked for 62 callups in just less than five seasons. Also, all D-League teams are directly affiliated with 1 to 3 NBA teams. The Tulsa 66ers were affiliated with the Dallas Mavericks, Milwaukee Bucks and the New York Knicks for the 2007-08 season. Those three teams could send eligible players to the D-League for various reasons, including practice time, playing time and rehabilitation.

Q: Who hires the coach and assigns players?
A: The Tulsa 66ers principal ownership group hires the head coach and assistant coach with NBA approval. NBA D-League Director of Basketball Operations Chris Alpert, working closely with NBA Executive Vice-President of Basketball Operations Stu Jackson, oversees and manages our player assignments.
