RENO, Nev., Jan. 12, 2012— Marcus Lewis recorded 23 points and 12 rebounds for his 10th double-double of the season and the Tulsa 66ers (10-8) used their highest scoring output of the year to take down the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (7-12) by a 111-92 final score Thursday afternoon at the 2012 NBA D-League Showcase in Reno, Nev.

Lewis’ 23 points came on 11-12 (.917) shooting from the floor. The forward, who entered the game leading the NBA D-League in rebounding with 13.9 boards per game, also collected three assists and three steals.

Thursday’s game, Tulsa’s final at the 2012 Showcase, marked the second time this season that six players scored in double figures, including Larry Owens with 19, Jerome Dyson with 17, Robert Vaden with 15 and Dwight Buycks and Brady Morningstar each with 10.

Tulsa, who led by as many as 33 points in the contest, racked up 18 assists and shot a season-high 54 percent (46-85) from the floor.

The 66ers were also strong on the defensive end, as they forced 20 Mad Ant turnovers and created a season-high 11 steals.

Leading Fort Wayne was Walker Russell with 19 points. Darnell Lazare paced the team with nine rebounds.
