Tulsa Falls to Iowa on the Road

DES MOINES, Iowa, March 22, 2014 - The Tulsa 66ers fell to the Iowa Energy, 112-101, on Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa.

Mario Little posted a game-high 31 points behind 8-for-12 three-point shooting, tying the franchise record for made three-point field goals. Little shot 11-for-18 overall and added three rebounds and three assists.

Rodney Bartholomew collected his 15th double-double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Scoop Jardine tallied 13 points, five rebounds and five assists and Reggie Williams had 12 points, seven boards and four assists.

Tulsa outscored the Energy 26-24 in the opening quarter before expanding their lead with a 12-4 run in the second quarter to head into halftime up 51-42.

The 66ers extended their lead to 15 in the third quarter before Iowa went on a 12-0 run in the frame's final minutes. The Energy outscored Tulsa 35-24 in the fourth to seal the win.

Tulsa outrebounded Iowa 50-46 and pulled down 15 offensive boards.

The 66ers return to action next weekend when they host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday night in their first of three consecutive home games.
