TULSA FALLS ON THE ROAD TO AUSTIN

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 22, 2012 Marcus Lewis posted a team-high 25 points and 12 rebounds to earn his 26th double-double of the season and Jerome Dyson added 16 points, but the Austin Toros (22-12) topped the visiting Tulsa 66ers (16-21) by a 114-87 final tally Wednesday night inside Cedar Park Center.

Also leading Tulsa in scoring was Larry Owens with 14 and Robert Vaden with 11.

The 66ers notched 17 assists on the offensive end, led by five dishes each from Vaden and Brady Morningstar.

Defensively, Tulsa forced 17 Austin turnovers and grabbed 10 steals, led by Dyson with four thefts and Owens with three.

Justin Dentmon led the Austin charge with a game-high 32 points. Julian Sensley paced the home team with nine rebounds.

The Tulsa 66ers will return to action after the 2012 All-Star break next Friday, March 2, at home against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers at 7 p.m. CT inside the Tulsa Convention Center.
